      admissions  |   what to bring

We suggest wearing casual, comfortable clothes that allow easy movement for therapy. Since you will be in and out of your room all day, hospital gowns are not worn. We recommend that clothing be labeled with your name, and encourage you to leave all valuables at home. Please consider bringing the following:

    • Seasonal outerwear
    • Athletic shoes with good support (or similar, comfortable shoes)
    • Several pairs of undergarments
    • 4 to 5 sweat suits or sets of similar, soft, loose clothing (pullovers should fit easily over your head)
    • Socks and/or knee-high nylons
    • Pajamas or gown, robe, slippers
    • Slippers (non-skid, no open back)
    • Bathing suit
    • Personal care items (i.e., brush, comb, toothbrush)
    • Corrective devices (i.e., dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids, etc.)
    • All insurance cards
    • Driver's license or photo ID
    • Living Will and/or Healthcare Power of Attorney

    Medication

Please bring a list of all medications you are currently taking. Medications should not be brought from home unless advised by your physician or a HEALTHSOUTH representative.
