Physical Therapy
Physical therapists assess joint motion and stability, muscle strength and flexibility, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, and the ability to perform activities of daily living.
Goals
- To decrease swelling
- To increase range of motion
- To increase strength
- To increase function in activities of daily living
Services
Treatment sessions last approximately one hour for two to four weeks. Following a comprehensive evaluation, sessions consist of:
- Hot packs
- Cold packs
- Exercises
- Neuromuscular Stimulation
- Trazer (Interactive exercise that helps to improve agility, enhance balance, and improve flexibility)
