Amputee Rehabilitation Program

Our inpatient Amputee Rehabilitation Program provides the acute rehabilitation services necessary to manage the medical complexities as well as the functional and psycho-social needs of post-op amputees. Our experienced physicians and therapists utilize a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that our patients reach their optimum level of physical, emotional, and psychological ability.

Goals

• Help patients regain the highest level of independence possible
• Provide physical, cognitive, and psychosocial rehabilitation to ease the adjustment to the loss of a limb
• Develop an individualize treatment plan designed to accomplish rehabilitation goals through a sequence of measurable, achievable steps
