At HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg, a patient's family is an integral part of the rehabilitation process. In fact, we consider them part of the patient's rehabilitation team.

Therefore, family members are always welcome to attend therapy sessions (as appropriate). Our staff also provides ongoing education to help family members understand their loved ones' diagnosis, promote their continued good health, and prepare them for return to the community.

Visitors are welcome any time between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

At HealthSouth Regional Specialty Hospital a patient's family is also an integral part of the recovery process, and considered part of the patient's recovery team.

Our staff also provides ongoing education to help family members understand their loved ones' diagnosis, promote their continued good health, and prepare them for return to the community.

Due to the medically complex nature of LTACH patients, and the need for extensive medical care, family members and visitors are welcome any time between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, unless the physician or nurse requests that the family be present at other times.
