Josette Myers Named CEO of HealthSouth Mechanicsburg
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Josette Myers has been named CEO of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg. She assumes the position on Sept. 25.
As CEO, she will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as patient quality and care at the physical inpatient rehabilitation hospital. For the past four years she has worked directly in the rehabilitation industry serving as the area director of marketing for HealthSouth Mechanicsburg and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of York. In total, she has more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare management roles.
“Josette demonstrates the compassion for our patients, the commitment to excellent results and the high level of integrity needed for this role,” said Abe Sims, vice president of HealthSouth’s northeast region. “Those values, in addition to her firsthand experience and knowledge of our hospital operations, make her a perfect fit to lead our team at HealthSouth Mechanicsburg.”
She achieved her bachelor’s degree in communications from Penn State University and a master’s degree from Temple University.
